Next Steps

Upon receipt, Commission staff will conduct an initial review to determine whether all required information has been provided and whether any additional information is necessary to evaluate the request. The request will not be provided to Commissioners for review until all required information is submitted, and required fees paid. Once all required information is received, the request will be provided to Commission members for review, and approved or denied by a vote of the full Commission.

Depending on the terms and complexity of the proposed transfer, the review and approval process may take 45 days or more. All proposed transfers must comply with Health-General Article, §§ 13-3301-13-3316, and COMAR 10.62.08, 10.62.19, and/or 10.62.25.
